الـ Thesis Statement هي الجملة التي توضح الفكرة الرئيسية للمقال.
بمعنى بسيط:
The thesis tells the reader what your essay is about and what you are going to discuss.
أي أنها تخبر القارئ:
- ما المشكلة؟
- وما الحلول التي سيناقشها المقال؟
شكل Thesis في Problem-Solution Essay
يمكننا إعطاء طلاب B2 هذه القاعدة البسيطة:
Problem + Main Solutions
أو:
Although/While + Problem, + Solutions.

كيف ترتبط Thesis بالـBody Paragraphs؟
هذه نقطة مهمة جدًا.
إذا كانت الـThesis:

فيمكن أن يكون المقال:

استخدام Although مناسب جدًا لطلاب B2؛ لأنه يسمح للطالب بتقديم المشكلة ثم الانتقال إلى الحل.

يمكن استخدام by + gerund لتقديم الحلول.

هل يجب أن أكتب الحلول في الـThesis؟
